Imaginif interviewed by Sydney Morning Herald journalist

March 5th 2008 by Megan Bayliss in Imaginif business

Article by Megan BaylissHeads up to my Sydney readers. Keep a look out for us in the Sydney Morning Herald (The List, a Saturday supplement). I have just been interviewed, by Rachel Olding, about our website.

Can a child protection blog make a difference? It sure can and being noticed by major media is part proof of that.

Thank you to each of our readers and commenters. Your support has assisted floating child protection in a sea of vicious predators just waiting to drown topics that are not trendy, geeky or revenue attractive.

It really is time that we all put children first. With prevalence statistics like one in three people sexually assaulted, the many abused and ignored children of today may well make very good use of technology in the future and change popular blogging themes and search terms to become more socially conscious, aware and responsible. Do you want to help or hinder child protection?

Stumble it!

Thanks everyone. No matter how small the article in the scheme of a National newspaper, I am wrapped that they have considered grass roots child protection newsworthy enough to profile.
I sincerely hope that the article raises consciousness in at least one new person. Can you imagine how safe our kids would be if we took child safety seriously and everyone operated from a safety first perspective?
Thanks SMH and thanks to the young reporter you contacted me out of the blue.
