Submit now for Carnival Against Child Abuse
December 12th 2007 by Megan Bayliss in Child Abuse
Tomorrow is the deadline for the December BLOG CARNIVAL AGAINST CHILD ABUSE. The Carnival will be hosted here at Imaginif. If you have a blog post that captures anything to do with child abuse then please join us. There is safety in numbers and many sticks make a bonfire. Together, WE can stop child abuse because child protection is a community responsibility.
The deadline for submissions to the Carnival Against Child Abuse is midnight tomorrow, Wednesday, December 12 (this is USA time, Thursday morning Australian time) for the Friday edition (in Australia, the post will show on Friday afternoon). You can submit posts here (this is the BlogCarnival submission page that collates submissions to be forwarded to the Carnival Against Child Abuse coordinator, Marj at Survivors can Thrive).
We accept blog posts for all forms of child abuse: physical, emotional, sexual, spiritual, verbal, neglect, etc. We highlight blog posts to child abuse survivor stories and poetry, child abuse as a topic in the media, as well as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, dissociation and other areas of the abuse “aftermath” that adult survivors are left to deal with. We also like to link to hopeful posts about therapy, recovery and healing from abuse. All forms of child advocacy and awareness are included. If you blog about child abuse, then we want you to join with us in our monthly Carnival Against Child Abuse.
We DO NOT publish pornography, pedophile network ads or anything that condones child abuse. We do however, take great delight in handing these posts over to the Federal Police and Interpol. So, if you want a few extra hits for being a person that abuses children, send your stuff in and we’ll make sure it finds its way around the world’s police forces.
I look forward to receiving your blog posts against child abuse. No matter where you live in the world, support and voice is only a Carnival submission away. If you’ve never seen a Carnival before, have a look at the last few Carnivals Against Child Abuse:
