The cost of child abuse

The Australian Childhood Foundation and Child Abuse Prevention Research Australia at Monash University are set to launch two important outcomes for Australian children.
At 1.00pm on Tuesday 18th November at BMW Edge, Federation Square, Hon Jenny Macklin, Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs will launch the findings of a research report about the Cost of Child Abuse in Australia undertaken by Access Economics, Australian Childhood Foundation and Child Abuse Prevention Research Australia at Monash University.
The Australian Childhood Foundation will also present its new Stop Child Abuse Now Campaign – a new national community education campaign.
The launch will feature presentations from Neil Mitchell (3AW), Nadine Gardiner (Channel 7) and songs from Lindsay and Maddie Field.
The new campaign and a downloadable copy of the research report will be available after the launch on our newly developed website at www.stopchildabusenow.com.au.
