I have begun my Masters degree in writing, have several freelance writing jobs and am generally having a ball.

The beautiful grand child has turned one. We celebrated last night and she had a wonderful time with her cakes and her millions of presents. I commented to my daughter that the baby has more toys now than Jade ever had in her entire life!
I thought I was being sensible bringing along a single cup cake for her to make a mess with……I should have known that my daughter would have done it in a grander style!
Below is the second birthday cake….one was for the grown ups and the one below was just for the baby to play with. Cup cake indeed! What was I thinking!!!!
