Self development and the power of prayer circles or mastermind groups

Hello Mary. Can I talk to you, please?

Hello Mary. Can I talk to you, please?

Concentrated thought of good intention changes things: self development principle. Concentrated thought of good intention, prayer, makes things happen. Concentrated thought of good intention works whether you are into prayer or self development.

Prayer circles appear to work. Whether it be that they give spiritual and emotional comfort to the recipient or that the power of the prayer does reach the ears of the almighty I do not know. I do know that I have many times experienced a successful outcome following a period of concentrated thought of good intention.

Although raised as a Christian, I am not now a practising Christian and “prayer circle” is no longer a part of my vocabulary. This does not make me a bad or evil person though, nor does it mean that I do not care for humanity.

Long ago I turned my back on my religious faith and instead have followed a quantum physics and spiritual path of self development and enlightenment. I believe in a creator and a higher power but I subscribe to the universal laws, particularly the Law of Attraction. Within these laws, a renamed prayer circle is encouraged – the master mind.  Same idea, different language. How wonderful if we could all overcome our language and denominational/religious difference and respect each other through an act of social understanding and collective care!

The act of masterminding is interacting and co seeking with like minded individuals for a higher purpose. Through these masterminds great things are said to be possible – the power of the concentrated thought, when used with good intention and in a grateful way, has the ability to move mountains – just like the Christian faith. Same idea, different language.

Minds coming together and concentrating on a single outcome, be it though prayer circles or mastermind groups,  creates enormous positive energy. That is why there are peace rallies, abundance drives, prayer circles and global days of celebration. That positive energy is felt, is absorbed and is remembered – powerful stuff! That energy leads to change.

As an undergraduate studying sociology, I was intrigued by the collective unconscious. I struggled with understanding it from a scientific point of view but never dismissed it as a real phenomena. When I travelled abroad with my mother (a practising Christian), she claimed the collective  unconscious of her ancestors led her to where significant family events had occurred. I believed her because I felt it too.

If we are all made of energy then the energy of those who have gone before us can and does intercede on our behalf. From a quantum physics point of view, like energy attracts like energy so when you have one person seeking good energy, a good energy quotient will flow to that person…but…when you have ten people together seeking good energy, 10 x that good energy quotients flow to that group.

Self development, no matter your religious or spiritual persuasion, can occur in isolation or it can occur in the throes of a prayer circle or a mastermind group. Being with other people in concentrated and positive thought works.

I actively join in a prayer circle/mastermind group with all those others who: overcome language difference and respect each other as an act of social understanding!

If you agree, join me in my mastermind circle:  say the following 5 times over. It is my mantra for the day: I overcome language difference and respect all others as an act of social understanding!

And in particular for today, my love, my condolences and my prayers go out to a family I have never met – a family who I know only through the mastermind of family blogging – a family whose baby, Kayleigh,  has died. My most positive thoughts are with you today and I have no difficulty in being part of the global prayer circle that has concentrated thought and good intention toward you all – including your baby daughter. Thank you to Fort Thompson for putting me in touch with Kayleigh and her family.
