Dan Hughes is coming to a town near you: Brisbane and Townsville. Training in Trauma, Loss and Attachment – Implications for Therapy and Parenting, Dan Hughes is offering a one day seminar in Townsville or two days in Brisbane.

One Day Seminar (Townsville)

This seminar will present an overview of the crucial role of a secure attachment and intersubjectivity on a child’s neurological, affective, cognitive, and behavioural development. The central role in attachment and intersubjectivity in enabling a child to resolve traumatic experiences will also be presented. Principles and strategies of psychotherapy and parenting which utilise attachment and intersubjectivity will be presented and discussed.

Two Day Training Presentation (maximum 30 participants, Brisbane)

This seminar will present an overview of the crucial role of a secure attachment and intersubjectivity in a child’s neurological, affective, cognitive, and behavioural development. Their central place in enabling a child to resolve traumatic experiences, develop affect regulation and reflective functioning, and establish a coherent narrative will also be explored. Principles and strategies of psychotherapy and parenting which utilise attachment and intersubjectivity will be presented and discussed. This model of intervention will be demonstrated with videos of treatment sessions.
