Megan Bayliss, child protection advocate, leaves Cairns
October 30, 2008 by Megan · 8 Comments
Megan Bayliss is set to leave Cairns within a month. Imaginif house and business on the market, Megan is leaving whether there is a sale or not (Jade will stay until the house is sold). All existing pieces of child protection work will be completed and supervisees will be refeered to either Birdwing Therapies or another professional supervisor. Imaginif is taking NO NEW appointments or work.
Megan is going to help Jade (her daughter) with her new online designer Consign It Baby clothes business and FINALLY pursue the creative arts that she has been wanting to pursue for some time (the Bitssy book is being turned into a play) and serious Grandma crafts are on Megan’s horizon.
A MONSTER garage sale is coming up within the next few weeks so keep your eye on the blog for details. Most furniture and tools of the child protection trade will be sold. If the business sells within the month, the new owner will inherit Megan’s extensive magic bag of work tools. This is a bargain for the potential owner of Imaginif. If the house sells, it is an option to sell it fully furnished.
Buy yourself a home, a lifestyle and a work from home job. The Imaginif business is FREE to you if you buy our beautiful Old Queenslander in Cairns, and you are interested in turning Imaginif into whatever work from home business you desire. Otherwise, make me an offer on the business or just the websites.

Thank you to each of you that partnered and worked with me over the many years I have been in Cairns. You will be sorely missed. To my wonderful, wonderful clients that have taught me more than all my formal study at university and in post graduate courses: you guys are my inspiration. Thank you.
There will be no farewell parties. I am not fond of goodbyes, just, “see you soon and take care.”
I will continue to blog until I leave or the websites sell. If websites do not sell, I will resume blogging at Imaginif once I am settled and have the dreaded internet connections sorted!

Hi Megan
This must be a very bitter sweet moment for you. It’s sad to say goodbye but you’re moving on to something new and I for one, wish you well in your new endeavour with your daughter Jade.
What a loss to Cairns Miss Megan! Your enthusiasm, passion and dedication to the most important cause of all – people’s wellfare – is inspirational to say the least.
I am so sad that we will be losing your wonderful presence but I know your work will continue because of the amount of people you have inspired. I am so happy, on the otherhand, because you are getting to do something that furthers your talents AND you get to work with closely with your daughter. What a wonderful opportunity! All the best Megan. You are one amazing lady!

Megan,
We have shared some special times and special people. I thank my lucky stars the day that Jo G introduced you to me. You have provided me with a very solid foundation that can only enhance my work, and the opportunity to examine my progress. I am so excited for you, it appears that you will have endless possibilities in front of you, and the exciting thing is, they are all of your making!!
May you and yours be well, and continue to grow. My Life Diary Scrapbook will include photos of you and ‘the kids’, thanks for the laughs..
Love Catherine x
I just want to wish you the very best of luck with all that.
I can tell from your blog and from all the other comments what a very special person you are.
Megan,
Best wishes for you and your family in the future. I hope you and you daughter have nothing but success and happiness.
We are having a lot of success with our Aspie son and I really appreciate when you took the time to reach out to me and offer encouragement when I needed it.
Shalom,
Houston
To everyone, thank you for your good wishes and very kind words. I have been inundated with emails – so many that I just cannot respond to them all.
Please take this as my collective thanks to each of you. It is only because of you that I have been able to drive community child protection around.
To whoever now buys the Imaginif business, you are going to have a FANTASTIC group of people and a professional network to work with.
Boy and I will be leaving he last Friday in November.
