Imaginif you bought your own business.

Imaginif
Imaginif Child Protection became serious business in your life.

This child protection and counselling business is for sale.

  • Anybody wanting to sell child safety focused products via a website.

Alternative offers to an all in one sale of Imaginif:

Websites may be sold separately to business. These may suit any individual with an interest in a work from home child safety bias or a person who wishes to use domain names, Google PR, Alexa ranking and indexing on Australia’s top two elite bloggers lists. All serious offers considered for either one or both of the sites.

Reasons for selling: After 15 years of working in the sector, I am eager to explore creative pursuits and other web 2 options. I cannot do that without selling the business. This is not a desperate or forced sale and I will continue to work the business until it sells.

Contact: Send your expression of interest to either myself or my accountant husband, Paul Martin – paul at fmservices dot come dot au. Serious expressions and offers only please.

I’ve stumbled because I’m sure you want to get the word out. Little shocked though. It’s kind of like Martha Stewart leaving Martha Stewart Living. :)

  2. Alison says:

Imaginif crafty Sunday was everyday, hey.
I am looking forward to seeing where this changes take you and Imaginif. :)

  3. linda says:

i hope you will put up another site of blogging–I love you guys and I would hate to see this site go away–It would be like losing Everyone needs therapy !

  4. Megan says:

Women thank you for your very kind words and of your acceptance of Imaginif. It will be lovely for the new owner to see that there is global support of Imaginif as a consciousness raising too.

Shirley: Thanks for the stumble, yes, I do want to get it out there. I am today feeling the shock myself! That’s okay though. I made a decision that we had been toying with for ages….I cannot move onto creative pursuits until I do not have the business. Whoever buys the business can still use the Megan Bayliss name in their advertising and networking and I will work closely with them to introduce them to my networks and to the blogosphere.

Alison: I ong for crafty Sunday’s everyday. I look at all the Etsy sites and I just wish…I wish I had the time to do all that stuff. I fancy having a therapeutic resources hand made shop and assisting survivors to sell their wares.

Linda: Keeping me away from blogging would be like taking the Catholic out of the Pope! I will have another site but in fairness to the new owner they may not want me blogging on similar topics. It may transpire that the new owner wants to pay me to manage the site and continue to write daily articles – I would be open to that. The new owner may not want the Teddy Tour as part of the deal so I would keep that. If both sites go for sale, then I will raise another blog but on a topic that will not take away from Imaginif.

So…Imaginif is definitely on the market and I am looking toward a new endeavour – real time and virtual. Child protection will remain my passion but it is now time for me to earn an income in a different way.

Thanks so much for your support everyone. Green Thumbs Up so that Imaginif can find the right person to take over at the helm.

  5. Lin says:

Wow Megan, I’m stunned and excited for you all at the same time. I’ll miss seeing you around here and exchanging great article links back and forth, but I’m also happy for you in whatever you’re pursuing. Thumbs up from me too to help get the word out. :)

  6. Lisa says:

WOW, I was lost for words. I would never had thought that you wanted to sell this little baby of yours. I guess the time has come for you to move on and jump into other ventures.

I hope who ever takes over the reins here at Imaginif know how much of a great network is already out there of supporters.

Please drop me a line soon.. it’s been way too long between chats.

    Miss ya mate.

    Lisa
    xx

  7. Megan says:

    Hi LIn and Lisa
thanks so much for your positive wishes and support.
I will still be around and will still blog, just not in an area that takes away from the Imaginif focus.

The Imaginif global support network is astounding. I love that there is a large group of people committed to community child protection and to ensuring that raised consciousness continues.

The opportunities to expand Imaginif are limitless and whatever the new owner does, I can only hope that you will all support them as you have supported me. I will support, coach and assist but I will also knit, crochet, sew, paint, craft and smell the world. Rest and relaxation has been a long time coming for me. I’ve done the hard yards with the set up and its now time for someone else to take over.

    Who will it be?

  8. Char says:

    Hey~ yep, what a surprise!

Though, so glad to hear you are moving on to do some stuff that you’ve been yearning for; life is short, and we all have our path.

I am happy to host the Cairns Carnival in future~ I find the pressure :-) necessary and enjoyable to keep going in the direction of helping others to network and contribute to a better commumity.

Be fun to see what you imagine up next!

    luv

  9. I agree with Shirley, it is like Martha Stewart leaving Martha Stewart, lol. Good luck with your next move Megan!

    xx
    Anita

  10. Megan says:

Oh, Anita that is so sweet. Thank you. I am sure there is another Martha Steward out there and whoever buys and works the business or even the web sites will still get referrals from me…plus they get to keep all the articles and handouts.

I received your books yesterday. Thank you so much for the add to the Imaginif Community library. I indeed do have a community library so you have seen clearly.

LOVE the emotional intelligence book for kids. Alison’s girls will also love it.

  11. Megan says:

Well….after much discussion with friends and other therapists, I have decided to take the business off the market. The Imaginif site will now be used for articles around overall personal development and marketing of both the Talk Doctors and my other business as an associate for Liberty League (personal development courses and conferences).

Teddy Tour is for sale though: any takers……
