Emotional Intelligence keeps kids safe

October 5, 2008 by Megan · 4 Comments

Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you’ll never get back.

Life is full of choices. Managing emotions are but a choice. You can choose to manage badly or you can choose emotional intelligence and successful management. At Imaginif we encourage success, empowerment and good management: emotional intelligence at its best.

Today I manage my happiness. Being a greedy little pig, I want lots of happiness: lots of full minutes to reflect upon on my death bead; lots of full minutes to deliciously reflect upon as I go to sleep; lots of full moments where I managed my choices around anger or happiness.

Music, nature and craft make me happy. Today I choose to combine all three. I am going to sit beside the stereo (Mika today I think) in my outside lounge tree house and knit a Teddy for the Teddy Tour.

Crystal Cascades always feeds my soul, refreshes my mind and leaves me choosing happiness.

Today I choose happiness because my positive mental health keeps my family, and your children, safe. Child protection is everybody’s responsibility. What will you do today to help keep our kids safe? If craft is your happiness switch, join me in knitting, sewing or crafting for others.

Al,…happy craft day hey! I can think of different ways to spend the day than the way you have ended up spending it. As always, my bestest and shiniest vibes are with you.

Jade. Yes, she’s lovely….she takes after her Mema :)

  4. We have a new house, so free time is often fixing and mending, which is fine. It means I can be in the house and interact with my family.

Sounds like you are staying very busy.
