Our kids love it even when he don's the Darth Vader - our little girls come up and talk to him as though he really is - Its such a crack up. Our eldest (who is now reaching 6 ft) has chosen a costume and they will start doing visits etc for kids. I think my husband hopes we all will get involved as it certainly has been one of his dreams to bring joy into kids lives. Parenting is a difficult job - single parenting is even harder. Thank God we have plenty of new days to start afresh. Thank God we are allowed to make mistakes and to try again. Thank God we have support networks and heroes that don't wear their underpants on the outside - people like all those that make comments on our blogs - normal people living normal lives and trying to make the world a better, safer place for all of our kids. I'm about to become a grand ma - having lots of help and heroes around is very important to us at the moment.
