Three bloggers took the cash challenge of writing about child safety: WIN $50.00 cash. Write a blog post about Child Safety
Planning Queen wrote a review: Child Safety – Remembering that I am the adult. She had 10 comments counted for competition win purposes.
Lin, from Telling it like it is, wrote a series introduction: Launching child safety and child sexual abuse series. Lin had 9 comments counted for competition win purposes.
Duncan’s TV ad land posted a FANTASTIC commercial, Dunkelziffer Tentacles Creeping us out for the sake of child safety. This entry had no comments. I can only hope though that the post and video were viewed frequently. The message about child sexual abuse is very strong.
Winner of the “write a blog post about child safety” competition is *** drum roll *** , Australia’s very own Planning Queen. Congratulations Planning. Send me your paypal email and we’ll get the $50.00 prize sent to you. Because you are in Australia, if you do not have a PayPal Account, we can arrange a direct credit.
Thanks to the three bloggers who cared enough about child safety to write about it and enter the competition. Talking about child protection keeps kids safe because it raises consciousness and lifts social taboos and secrecy. Imaginif child protection became serious business. Imaginif you did something to help.

Congratulations to Planning Queen! I don’t mind at all that I didn’t win, as I was already planning and developing my article on child sexual abuse prior to learning of the contest. It really was an afterthought.
Thank you Megan for showcasing these articles, and I will continue to write about sexual abuse and sexual victimization of children until I draw my last breath.
Thanks Megan for running the competition and increasing the profile of child safety. If readers haven’t read the other posts from the other competiton, I would encourage them to do so as they are both thought provoking. Thanks again
Thanks Megan for the challenge. Since talking to you at the Australian Bloggers conference I’ve had a commitment to highlighting campaigns that look out for the needs of children in danger of abuse. Your encouragement is helpful.
Congratulations for the winners!
