An unusually themed Christmas in this home

Paul and Megan, Christmas day, 2007To our family and friends: Unless your name starts with “A” (the two children of the family) then please be on notice that you will not be getting a Christmas present from the Imaginif household. Christmas this year is a no present Christmas.  Do not be disappointed if you buy us one and there is nothing in return for you.

Paul’s illness this year has forced us to re evaluate life: our dreams, aspirations, commitments, business and  focus. The upcoming year promises many changes for us; changes that will positively affect you and bring you more joy than a $50.00 gift bought in a hurry.

I will finally be more available because I am now concentrating solely on the part time life coaching and self development aspect of Imaginif (the bigger money maker). This will mean that some of you get the gift of my time while some of you will get the gift of my arrival: Particularly the American contingent :) That’s right…..we have a business holiday planned.

So, pass on the Christmas presents because we have some other magic to last the whole year long.

Thank you for saving my life

The moment of sinking and drowningTwelve months ago I almost drowned in a diving incident: My traumatic drowning and rescue by Kleinhardt in pictures, and Woman near drowns and has blogging discussion with rescuer.

At a Christmas Party on a yacht on the Great Barrier Reef, it was a Child Protection Christmas that could have been a disaster for my family, my children and friends. However, there was no disaster, just a rescue and a celebration. I could have marinated in the trauma and the attention if I had some sort of personality disorder, or I could have seized life and expressed my gratitude for life. I chose the latter because I have faith in life and I believe in creating a better future than the past.

I am very happy to be alive. There have been challenges this past twelve months but mostly my life is a dream. I am grateful for the experience of waking up every morning and making a choice about how my day will go. I live life because I know that it can be gone all too quickly.

You have that choice to. Will you embrace and celebrate life or will you allow yourself to be battered by the waves of despair and drowned by the incompetence of people around you. I look forward to hearing your choice of life, love and peace.

Water safety is child protection. Watch your children, when ever they are around water and be prepared to help if they get into trouble. Drowning is silent. Watching is the least you can do. Watching is child protection.

The Law of Attraction for child protection not child abuse

Make money working from home part timeThe Law of Attraction is an unseen force that feels into your mind and heart to understand your very desires and wishes. Some people call it God, some call it a thinking substance, the Universe or Karma, but today it is mostly referred to as the Law of Attraction. Just as the Law of Attraction feels into your very soul to discover that which your truly want, it also delivers for you, that which you really want. The basic premise of the Law is that you attract to you all that you think and feel: Like attracts like. Hence, the name, the Law of Attraction.

Remember when your mother used to say, “Be careful for what you wish,” or your pesky therapist used to say, “Think positive and you will be positive,”? They were talking about like attracting like – what you think and wish for, you get. If you are wishing for bad things to happen to that boy who dumped you then bad things will happen to you; if you are thinking positive things then positivity returns to you. It is your thoughts that make things happen to you.

The Law of Attraction is the combination of thoughts and feelings. We have so many thoughts in a day that it is impossible for the thinking substance to process them all and make them all come true. What it instead does is pick up on those thoughts that have feeling attached to them. The feeling is the super powered gas behind the pedal of thought.

If you want to attract good things to you (wealth, health, friends, success, new car, fancier house, etc) then go ahead and think about them in a structured and focused way. But….attach positive feeling to those thoughts. See the picture of what you want in your head and summon up a feeling of excitement, pleasure, peace, joy, whatever is the most appropriate  feeling to match your mental image of what you want.

Be warned – the Law of Attraction is not biased. It is so strong, so true to its word that it will answer the combination of your thoughts and feelings. If you think and feel strongly about bad things, bad things will show up in your life, again and again – guaranteed. If you think and feel positive things, positive things will show up in your life – guaranteed.

The way you approach a subject that you are passionate about is heard and responded to by the Law of Attraction. What would happen if I concentrated on Child Abuse? More child abuse would show up. Instead, I have turned it on it’s head and I concentrate on child protection – I am pro protecting children. What shows up in my life? Examples of millions of parents around the world actively protecting children and making the world a better place. Thank you, each of you. I extend my eternal gratitude to you all.

Mother Theresa once said that she would never attend an anti war rally. Why? Because she understood that concentrating on war bought more war. Instead, Mother Theresa attended pro peace rallies. Why? Because concentrating on peace breeds more peace.

Consider your passions. Are you anti a bad thing to concentrate upon or are you pro a good thing to concentrate on? The universe hears you via the Law of Attraction and it responds to your plea.

Gratitude for child protection

Megan Bayliss, listening to what you have to sayAre you grateful for anything today? If you are, say it. Living in a feeling of gratitude is one of the fastest ways to change your life for the better and to evoke the Law of Attraction (that which is like attracts). Being grateful for what you’ve got breeds more things to be grateful for – bigger and better things.

I am grateful that my children are safe and protected.

I am grateful that child protection happens daily in millions of homes around the world (your home).

I am grateful for the technology available to me so that I can blog about child protection.

I am grateful for the beds my children have to sleep in.

I am grateful for the houses that keep my children secure and sheltered.
